Grey’s Anatomy season 14 and the ‘Jaggie’ talk ahead

Jaggie

Mrs. Carter: Is there going to be an essential Jaggie conversation coming up on Grey’s Anatomy season 14?

While the relationship storyline between these two characters — otherwise known as Jackson and Maggie — may be a bit polarizing, it’s clear that the producers are not shying away from it. They’ve shown us a number of notable moments so far, with many of them ranging from awkward to even more awkward. That’s what happens when your parents find themselves romantically intertwined. Jackson and Maggie may not be related but having your parents date does make things feel rather complicated.

Rest assured that no matter what happens between these two characters in the end, you’re not going to have to wait all that much longer to see things go down. Speaking on this subject to Entertainment Weekly, executive producer Krista Vernoff had the following to pass along:

“They’re going to have that conversation within the next few episodes … It’ll be after the winter break, so people will have to hold out a little longer.”

By the time the Winter Olympics roll around in February there’s a good chance that you’ll know just where Jaggie stands — either they are going to find their way to be together or they’ll drift in other directions. We don’t think that they necessarily need to be a couple — there are plenty of fish in the sea, after all, and we’ll certainly be one of those people who are very much attached to the Jackson and April pairing. Jaggie could have potential if the story’s handled correctly, but given that there are obviously some mutual feelings between Jackson and April we can’t imagine that this story is over. They are parents together and the trip to Montana last season spoke volumes about how they feel about each other when the going gets tough.

What do you want to see transpire with Jaggie moving forward? Are you rooting for them to be together, or would you so much prefer seeing the two parties going their separate ways? Share below!
