The Big Bang Theory season 11 episode 11: Amy’s birthday party

The Big Bang Theory season 11 episode 11

The Big Bang Theory season 11 episode 11 is airing on December 14, and Amy’s birthday is going to be a big storyline! If you follow the show closely, you know what that means. Amy’s birthday has become ingrained in the show’s mythology as the time that Sheldon and Amy sleep together, but what’s also interesting about it now is that it’s around the same time that Howard and Bernadette’s daughter Halley was born. There are therefore going to be two birthday celebrations in this episode, and we have a feeling that they will each be very different and interesting (not to mention funny).

Below, CarterMatt has some more insight on The Big Bang Theory season 11 episode 11 via the official CBS synopsis:

“The Celebration Reverberation” – Sheldon and Wolowitz plan birthday celebrations for Amy and Halley, respectively. Also, Leonard receives a Christmas letter from his brother that causes him to spiral out about his own lack of accomplishments, on THE BIG BANG THEORY, Thursday, Dec. 14 (8:00-8:31 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

For those wondering, apparently Amy’s birthday party is going to be themed around Little House on the Prairie.

As for the storyline revolving around Leonard’s brother Michael, it’s mostly interesting since it represents the show exploring one of the more mysterious relationships we haven’t seen much of over the years. We know that he is a Harvard Law professor and seemingly favored by Beverly, but we’ve never met the character in the flesh. It still remains somewhat interesting that Leonard’s entire family did not come to his wedding celebration, or any other milestone event presented on the show.

Also, we’re probably a little bit late to the party on this, but we just now realized that Better Things star Pamela Adlon is actually the person voicing baby Halley on the show! There’s a fun video out there on Sirius XM in which she discusses how she got the job and her working history with the late Carol Ann Susi, who voiced Howard’s mother on the series.
