Is The Brave new tonight on NBC? Reasons for the wait
The good news is that you are going to get more of the Mike Vogel series at some point in the future. Unfortunately, it’s not going to be for the immediate future. There is no new episode tonight, and there won’t be until you get around to the start of the new year. From that point, you can be rest assured that you’ll get a solid arc of new episodes to take you through the end of the season. Odds are, The Brave season 1 is going to be over by the time you make it to the start of the Winter Olympics. Is that a bummer? Sure, but at the same time it makes perfect sense to wrap things up before the Olympics come on and destroy everything else in the ratings.
The thing to know is that this hiatus won’t be completely vacant of news on the show, mostly because of the fact that NBC does like to issue press releases a few weeks before the show comes on the air. You’ll get a chance to understand more of where the journey goes, and hopefully everyone who watched the first batch of episodes over the fall are going to continue to watch and enjoy it. The biggest fear that any fan of The Brave should have at the moment is that with The Voice off the air in the new year, the ratings will fall because viewers will forget that it’s airing. This is something that transpired with Timeless last year and that was a show with a super-loyal following.
