NCIS season 15: Mark Harmon, cast express gratitude for 15 years

We’re right on the other side of Thanksgiving and as a result of that, this is still the time of the year where we all are expressing gratitude for the many great things that have come our way.

At this point, it should be obvious to almost everyone that the cast of NCIS has an incredible amount to be grateful for. This is the most-watched show on television all over the world, it’s made all of them incredibly successful, and it’s also allowed them to have fans who will follow their careers for many years to come.

In the video below (via the show’s official Twitter page), you can see more of what Mark Harmon, Sean Murray, Maria Bello, and many others have to say about the success of the series while at a recent TV Guide Magazine celebration for the show. They all express their gratitude for being a part of NCIS and still seem excited for the future.

Is there a season 16 of NCIS confirmed at CBS at the moment? Not exactly, but it does feel like something close to a certainty right now. The ratings, while down year to year, are certainly good enough to justify bringing the show back. The problem is that in doing so, you’re going to be missing out on Abby — Pauley Perrette is leaving at the end of the season and the big challenge with that comes in how she’s one of the most recognizable and beloved members of the cast. There isn’t anyone that can replace her and you just have to hope that you can find someone who will bring their own personality and spirit to the show.

Luckily, there are still many weeks to go before we get to this point and CarterMatt is planning to have much more in the way of NCIS coverage at every step. There’s a holiday episode coming up and we have a feeling that in the new year, we’ll have a chance to crack open some new mythology and explore what’s coming up next.
