Sullivan Stapleton hypes Blindspot season 3 at Macy’s Parade — what’s next

Sullivan Stapleton was at the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade on Thursday, and of course that led to show co-host Al Roker doing everything that he could to get some scoop from him! As for whether or not that happened … well, not so much. What we did get from Stapleton is that he’s super-happy about where the show is right now and he’s excited for viewers to see even more of what’s going to be coming up:

“We’re into season 3, and it’s a great season. It just gets better and better. It’s a lot of fun.”

Stapleton is Australian, and as a result of that he isn’t used to celebrating Thanksgiving in the same way that many of us in America have been used to since we were children. Luckily, it seems like he has some company there in terms of his co-star Luke Mitchell.

So what can we tell you about some upcoming Blindspot episodes? Since you are checking out this article CarterMatt wants to give you some scoop! One of the episodes coming up in December is entitled “Adoring Suspect,” and what you’re going to see in that is Mitchell’s Roman continue to do some terrible things to Stapleton’s Weller — based on the synopsis below, a big part of his plan involves blackmailing him and more or less turning his life into a living hell. Check out the synopsis we have for you below:

“The team goes undercover on a movie set to stop a terrorist plot with unlikely backers. Roman (Luke Mitchell) blackmails Weller (Sullivan Stapleton) with a horrible secret about Jane (Jaimie Alexander).”

By the end of the first part of Blindspot season 3 we think that there are going to be some more secrets/surprises that you end up seeing. For one, we have to assume that the reveal of Jane’s child is going to reverberate quite a bit. Random thought: If Jane is a mother this means that Roman is an uncle, and the idea of this Thanksgiving dinner table is somewhat terrifying. Our hearts go out to anyone who has to sit around a dinner table for a discussion about life featuring these two.
