Is Vicki Gunvalson leaving Real Housewives of Orange County? She’s threatening it
Typically, someone threatening to quit isn’t that big of a deal — they often come back, dust themselves off, and we forget about it a few weeks later. It is a little bit different, however, when we’re talking about Vicki Gunvalson. This is one of the most well-known cast members from the franchise and she’s also been a part of the show longer than any other Housewife from any show. Vicki’s one of the mainstays of this whole franchise so if she does actually leave it means something.
Yet, we can probably take a deep breath before we have to worry about any of that. When she makes the threat in the promo below she’s clearly upset and emotional about what’s going on around her — which makes sense, given that these reunion shows do have a tendency to get testy with all sorts of rumors and gossip thrown all over the place. We should be used to it at this point, but the truth of the matter is that we’re not.

The First Ladies of Bravo are reunited and Lydia is in the hot seat and taken to task for outspoken opinions and actions. Vicki gives an update on her relationship with Steve, while Kelly and Shannon open up about the state of their marriages.
Of course, the reunion is going to touch on what’s happened in the personal lives of Kelly Dodd and Shannon Beador — it only makes sense given what’s already out there in the headlines about the two of them. The part of it that is especially sad is that we’ve seen so much of their stories play out on the show. While we’re cynical and have a tendency to make fun of various tropes and trends that happen on this franchise, it isn’t fun to see someone’s marriage fall apart.
