The Big Bang Theory season 11 episode 8 video: Kripke returning

Big Bang Theory season 11 episode 8The Big Bang Theory season 11 episode 8 will feature a number of fun moments, but the return of Kripke should be near the top of the list!

It’s a bit of a rarity these days to get John Ross Bowie back on the show given that he’s a big part of Speechless, and therefore a busy guy! With that, we’re happy anytime that he’s on board the show! His return seems, (at least based on the sneak peek below) to be prompted by Sheldon taking on a mysterious assignment by none other than Col. Williams. (Did we mention that another recurring player in Dean Norris is turning up?). Leonard and Howard are going to get extremely — and understandably — paranoid that Sheldon is working on the government project again without them; the fact that neither Sheldon nor Williams will confirm anything one way or another seems to unnerve them even more.

Are the two guys recruiting Kripke as a means to help them figure out what Sheldon is doing? Given that he is working on some sort of equation, most signs seem to be pointing towards this being the case. Regardless of whatever it is, we’re sure that Sheldon will not appreciate the fact that they are collaborating with Kripke — he does seem to get a little jealous (and angry) upon these sorts of occasions.

As a viewer, it doesn’t matter so much to us how Sheldon feels about any of this — we’re just here for the entertainment and this is shaping up to be a disaster. These are characters who can be very paranoid and there’s a good chance they’ll all drive each other up the wall.

As for what’s coming for Sheldon and Amy…

There aren’t any clues to the aforementioned Col. Williams mystery in here, but you do get yet another edition of our ongoing series entitled “Why does Amy put up with this?”. Sheldon is pretty obnoxious towards her in the midst of a discussion of their dinner plans — it’s vintage Sheldon and we shouldn’t be surprised by it, but we would hope that as this relationship goes along that he would have learned from some of what Amy is trying to teach him.

We’ll see what happens for Sheldon and Amy on the other side of this when this episode airs on CBS Thursday night.
