Chicago PD season 5 episode 8 spoilers: Crime and politics mix

Chicago PD season 5 episode 8

Chicago PD season 5 episode 8 airing on November 29 is entitled “Politics,” and it doesn’t take a whole lot of effort to understand why. After all, politics are going to be a central theme in the story. A politician gets himself mixed up in some very bad things (or at least it seems that way), and Voight (along with the rest of the team) need to find a solution to the problem.

So why will this matter so much for Jason Beghe’s character? Well, the simple answer to that is because the politician at the heart of the story is a friend of his.

For more news on Chicago PD season 5 episode 8, take a look at the synopsis CarterMatt has for you below:

11/29/2017 (10:00PM – 11:00PM) (Wednesday) : INTELLIGENCE INVESTIGATES A TWISTED CASE INVOLVING A CONGRESSMAN CAUGHT WITH A DEAD GIRL. One of Voight’s (Jason Beghe) friends, Congressman Scott Graynor (guest star Scott Bryce) is found passed out in his hotel room with a dead Ukranian girl. When Intelligence discovers the murder is connected to a sting and Burgess’ (Marina Squerciati) boyfriend (guest star Zach Appelman) is working with the Feds, Burgess must choose between compromising her case or her boyfriend’s case. Also starring Jon Seda, Jesse Lee Soffer, Patrick John Flueger, Elias Koteas, LaRoyce Hawkins, Amy Morton and Tracy Spiridakos. Guest starring Wendell Pierce, AlexAnn Hopkins and Ty Jones.

When it comes to the story of Burgess and her boyfriend, we want to remind everyone that the news about Appelman’s casting was first reported weeks ago. The Sleepy Hollow alum will be at the center of an interesting story here since Kim has to either put her job on the line for him or vice-versa. This is an issue that we’re going to see the character resolve in one form or another, and we’re excited to see what the resolution here is going to be … and if she keeps this relationship in the process. There is, after all, no guarantee of that!

We know that there are many people out there rooting for Ruzek and Burgess, but one of the biggest things that we can say about these two at the moment is that they have some other things to worry about at the moment … and that may be even more true when you check out the new episode this week.

For the record, we hope that you are patient while waiting to check out “Politics” — the show will be taking a week off on November 22 for Thanksgiving.
