Chicago Med season 3 episode 2 spoilers: What’s next for Ethan, April?

Chicago Med season 3 episode 2

Chicago Med season 3 episode 2 is coming up on NBC at the end of the month, and this one has some serious drama to look forward to! Not only that, but there will be a few chances to learn about some relationships that are taking center stage at the hospital.

(Warning: If you haven’t heard about Dr. Charles’ fate already, now may be the time to turn away.)

If you didn’t know, NBC already put a press release out there detailing that Dr. Charles will make it out of his near-death situation in one piece. However, that does not mean that all of the physical and psychological scars will have healed. We will see the after-effects of all this play out for the remainder of the season; for the time being though, we feel like the Chicago Med season 3 episode 2 synopsis CarterMatt has for you below will give you a better  sense as to precisely what he is up against, coupled with how the relationship between Dr. Ethan Choi and April is going to be progressing:

NATALIE TAKES MATTERS INTO HER OWN HANDS IN DEALING WITH A COMPLICATED PREGNANCY WHILE DR. CHOI AND APRIL TRY TO STRIKE A BALANCE AT WORK- Dr. Manning (Torrey DeVitto) goes to extremely measures to help a fearful pregnant woman whose baby is severely underdeveloped. April (Yaya DaCosta) is angered by Dr. Choi (Brian Tee) when he uses their personal relationship as leverage to convince a patient of a risky procedure. As Dr. Rhodes (Colin Donnell) attempts to balance his personal and professional life, it appears the stress of his current situation may have caused him to make a huge mistake. Dr. Charles (Oliver Platt) and Dr. Reese (Rachel DiPillo) continue to disagree about their psych patients. S. Eptha Merkerson, Marlyne Barrett, Nick Gehlfuss and Norma Kuhling also star. Mekia Cox and Ato Essandoh guest star.

While Chicago Med is going to continue to be a show about medical crises and what many of the doctors do in these situations, we do still believe that this is a show about relationships and watching these characters try to figure out where they stand with each other despite having some of the most difficult jobs imaginable. We imagine that there will be many fun moments that will come up over the course of the first few episodes (don’t forget about Will and Natalie) in the midst of some of the hard times.
