The Big Bang Theory season 11 episode 7 preview: Brian Posehn returns as Bert

The Big Bang Theory season 11 episode 7

When The Big Bang Theory season 11 episode 7 airs on CBS on November 9, we have to say that there will be many things to be excited about! At the top of the list here is a chance to see a very unusual collaboration with Dr. Sheldon Cooper in one corner and Bert in the other. Sheldon is someone who has a history of belittling Bert and some of his work — just like he does the vast majority of sciences that are not his own. So when he has to work with Bert, Sheldon has no desire to let anyone know that he is going to be working with him.

For a little more information on what’s coming up, all you have to do is check out the official synopsis CarterMatt has for you below:

“The Geology Methodology” – Sheldon and Bert collaborate on a research project, despite Sheldon’s embarrassment. Also, Penny and Bernadette coach Koothrappali on how to navigate his relationship with Ruchi (Swati Kapila), on THE BIG BANG THEORY, Thursday, Nov. 9 (8:00-8:31 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

Obviously, there’s something to be said about the return of the Ruchi character after her debut earlier this season. This means that this will not be one of Raj’s ghosts of girlfriends past (terrible Matthew McConnaughey movie reference, we know) who you meet and then never see again. Remember the veterinarian that we saw once upon a time? It felt almost as though she was perfect soulmate material for Raj, and then we never ended up seeing her again after her initial appearance. Strange, but sometimes this show does have little oddities like that.

Ultimately, we’re just glad to be getting seven new episodes of the show in the next seven weeks. That’s a lot of new content, and we hope that the ratings remain as strong on Thursdays as they were on Mondays. There is one thing that could be holding it back when it comes to the ratings, and that is some of the competition from NFL football. We’ll report on that more come tomorrow.

What do you want to see on The Big Bang Theory season 11?

Be sure to share some of your thoughts and expectations now! Personally, the Sheldon part of this episode makes us more excited than we’ve been for any Sheldon story in a while.
