Blue Bloods season 8 episode 6 spoilers: Frank involved in Jamie, Eddie’s case

Blue Bloods season 8

For those of you wanting more Jamie and Eddie, you’ll be pleased to know that Blue Bloods season 8 episode 6 is going to be presenting that. This episode is entitled “Brushes Off,” and Will Estes and Vanessa Ray’s characters are going to find themselves in a tricky spot. After all, they will continue to do what they can to work on cases to the best of their ability, but what happens when Archbishop Kearns and then Frank get involved? Will they be forced to change up their investigation?

For a little more information on this subject, all you have to do is check out the synopsis below!

“Brushed Off” – When a famous basketball player is found dead of an apparent drug overdose, Danny looks into his possible ties to a local drug gang. Also, Erin revisits the case of a man she may have wrongfully convicted years ago, and Frank is approached by Archbishop Kearns (Stacy Keach) regarding an eviction matter Jamie and Eddie are working on, on BLUE BLOODS, Friday, Nov. 3 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

This is the first synopsis that we’ve seen in a while where it’s confirmed that Ray will have a storyline as Eddie; we know that Jamie has a big one coming up on Friday night, but as of this writing there hasn’t been too much else that has been said regarding if Eddie is going to be there. We’d love to see it happen, but regrettably there is no confirmation about that at the moment.

As for the case itself, we could see Jamie getting very frustrated if the church gets involved in some way with something that he is working on — especially in the event that it actually keeps him from being able to actually do his job the way that he wants.

As for some of the other storylines during this episode…

The case of the dead basketball player is going to be an interesting one for Danny to take on simply because it puts him in a public eye probably more than he’s comfortable with — especially since it was his work on another gang operation that led to his home being targeted and burned down. Add to this the celebrity nature of this case and it only gets all the more challenging for him to take on — there will be reporters and probably just average sports fans who will try to either get involved or play amateur cops.

All in all, it definitely seems like this episode is going to be eventful, and will incorporate more of the regulars than many others have over the years.
