Vice Principals season 2 episode 8 preview: The last before finale
For most of the series one of the things that we’ve seen time and time again is a tremendous amount of conflict between these guys. While we’ve certainly seem them at odds, we’ve also seen them work together. Over the course of the show’s run, one of the fundamental differences that has surfaced is actually rather simple: One of these guys has shown more of a willingness to cause some trouble at any lengths necessary. We’ve learned that Russell is about as dastardly a dude as you’re going to come across in that capacity. Meanwhile, we do believe that Gamby has something resembling a conscience. Even if he doesn’t always behave in the right way possible we do get a sense here and there that he harbors something similar to guilt and cares about some other people. Could this be a point of contention moving into Vice Principals season 2 episode 8? It’s possible.
One of the things that you should know now is that the title for this episode is “Venetian Nights.” If that didn’t make you think that the main story for this episode is going to be prom, the synopsis below will:
“Tensions between Gamby (Danny McBride) and Russell (Walton Goggins) come to a head as prom night approaches.”
We’re getting to the end of the school year, and this is when some key decisions are going to be made regarding the future of one North Jackson High. Here’s to hoping that there are some fun moments coming up, and maybe some that make us debate all the more one of the show’s most-interesting moral questions: Is it okay to root for Neal Gamby? It’s something that has proven to be a rather difficult question to answer given that he doesn’t make it all that easy much of the time.
