Blue Bloods season 8 episode 5 spoilers: A big Will Estes – Jamie story
So what are we going to end up seeing over the course of this episode? “The Forgotten” is a story that is going to feature Jamie going all-out in his efforts to help someone who he perceives to be in need. As for what one of the big twists for this storyline is going to be it seems to be mostly this: Sometimes karma doesn’t quite swing around in the way it really should. You may want to do something good for someone else but not everyone else may be able to see things the same way.
If you look below via CBS, you can get a little more news right now regarding what is coming in this particular episode:
“The Forgotten” – Danny and Baez investigate the murder of a single mother whose ex-husband has a history of violence. Also, Frank deals with the fallout when Mayor Dutton (Lorraine Bracco) eliminates solitary confinement in prisons, and Jamie’s efforts to save a young woman who overdosed on drugs has unexpected consequences, on BLUE BLOODS, Friday, Oct. 27 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.
Clearly, there are a number of different super-interesting things that you can look forward to seeing here — if you love the Mayor Dutton character, it’s pretty clear that you are also going to like having her around in this episode, as well. She’s been a part of the show for the past several weeks in one form or another — but hasn’t always been featured onscreen. She’s had plenty of off-screen mentions as of late.
Meanwhile, for Danny and Baez their mission is pretty clear: Just finding a way to get justice for this single mother. Did the ex-husband do it? That is the easy conclusion to draw but things could be a little more complicated than they seem at first.
The one question that still remains here is the presence of one Eddie Jamko, who isn’t mentioned in the synopsis at all.

I would like to see Jamie and Eddie together. This storyline has been teased for too long and we need to see them together. Obviously I don’t know what the writers have in mind but viewers want to see something besides Danny and Baez running around and frank’s agitation at his job. With Linds’s death clouding everything that happens it would be nice to have a little bit of happiness in the show.
