MacGyver season 2 episode 5 spoilers: Halloween + the Bermuda triangle
This episode entitled “Skull + Electromagnet” offers up a chance to see everyone on the team in costume; not only that, but it could feature an especially scary case given that we are heading off to the Bermuda Triangle. This is the sort of show that does a great job mixing and mingling with this sort of stuff. It embraces the fun and urban legend of it all — plus, we figure that there could be a good reason for a fun, crazy case like this after the return of Murdoc tonight.
Just to get a taste of some of the fun Halloween-related content we’re getting in this episode, take a look at the photo above! One of the things that is great about getting a Halloween episode at this point is that it offers us up a chance to see the team bring is family dynamic to a different and very-fun time of the year. These holiday episodes are a little harder to do right away on the show when you don’t have a chance to know the characters that well outside of them. Also, last season it took a little bit of time before Bozer even knew about the Phoenix Foundation and what his longtime friend’s real job was.
Below, you can see a little bit more MacGyver season 2 episode 5 news via the official CBS synopsis:
“Skull + Electromagnet” – The team is pulled away from their Halloween plans when they head into the dreaded Bermuda Triangle to retrieve the Vice President’s son after his plane goes down with a mysterious prisoner on board, on MACGYVER, Friday, Oct. 27 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.
One thing to note here is the time change — due to Michael Jackson’s Halloween, there is no new episode of Hawaii Five-0 next week.
All in all, this episode sounds like a hoot. If you love MacGyver and some of the characters the show brings to the table, there odds are certainly there that you are going to love this episode, as well. The Halloween part of it is just going to be the icing on the cake.
