Poldark season 3 episode 3 teasers (PBS): Ross, George, famine, and more
We’re back once more with our latest edition of show teasers, and when you consider everything that has transpired so far this season one thing is very much clear: We’ve got a rather eventful series of stories coming up!
1. Famine is going to have struck many villages in Cornwall, and as a result of that there are going to be many different characters with a need for urgent help. Will someone be willing to rescue them? You would hope so, but unfortunately there is no guarantee of such a thing. Ross will find himself at the onus of trying to figure out what’s going on, but the reaction of one George Warleggan will not be that favorable.
2. If you hate George, his actions towards Agatha in this episode are only going to make you hate him more.
3. The romance of Morwenna and Drake, which has been rather lovely and a nice showcase of hope for much of the season, isn’t going to find itself torn apart. As a result of that you’re going to have even more of a reason to be bummed out by some other characters than ever before.
4. You will get a prominent look at a new character tonight, someone who you will likely come to hate by the end of the season. After all, sometimes stories need plenty of villains in order to get the ball rolling and making things as dramatic as possible.
5. By the end of the episode, you will receive yet another unfortunate reminder that all actions, whether good or bad, have consequences. Ross may do things with the best intentions at heart, but that doesn’t mean said intentions are met well by others. We’re gearing up for one of the most difficult conclusions of an episode so far this season and the weight could be on Ross’ shoulders now perhaps more so than ever by the time we reach the closing moments.
