Chicago PD season 5 episode 4 preview: Be prepared for big Atwater hour

Chicago PD season 5 episode 4

There are always good reasons to watch Chicago PD, but Chicago PD season 5 episode 4 may offer up more than others. This is especially true if you are a fan of Kevin Atwater. The character played by LaRoyce Hawkins certainly needs and deserves more spotlights here and there, and this installment should serve as a prime opportunity to get to know him better as a murder case leads to us learning more about him. That’s a somewhat-scary thought for both Kevin and the people close to him, but it should lead to great drama and a great performance from Hawkins to boot.

If you look below, you can get a little bit more news regarding what is going to be coming up in this episode.

Chicago PD season 5 episode 4 synopsis – “While investigating a drug-related homicide, Intelligence is stonewalled by the ‘no-snitch’ culture of the neighborhood. And Atwater (LaRoyce Hawkins) discovers a personal connection to the case. Meanwhile, the police’s own code of silence is put to the test when Upton (Tracy Spiridakos) is asked about Ruzek’s (Patrick John Flueger) rough altercation with a suspect. Also starring Jason Beghe, Jon Seda, Jesse Lee Soffer, Elias Koteas, Marina Squerciati and Amy Morton. Guest starring Mykelti Williamson, Monica Barbaro and Kylen Davis.”

There’s a chance you may have heard already that Barbaro is appearing in this episode, where she will be reprising her Chicago Justice role of Anna Valdez. It’s still sad that this show is no longer on the schedule but we’re still very much pleased that it continues to have a part to play in the larger One Chicago universe. We know that the attorneys and investigators from this show are still out there — not only that, but Jon Seda’s Antonio Dawson is now back in Intelligence on Chicago PD. (If you do love Philip Winchester as Peter Stone, you’re going to be seeing him on a different show in Law & Order: SVU later this season.)

For the time being, the biggest thing that you can look forward to is simply a chance to see more good stuff for Atwater — we’re hoping to have a lot of great coverage here at CarterMatt on the episode so be sure to keep coming back for that.
