Lethal Weapon season 2 preparing to take an MLB break; details

For anyone out there about Lethal Weapon season 2 and seeing some of the stories coming up, there are a few things to know.

What’s one of the biggest ones? Well, it is really so simple as the fact that there’s going to be a scheduling break for some upcoming episodes. If you have watched Fox on a regular basis over the years, you will know that there is a time in late October where things do start to get a little bit messed-up thanks to the MLB playoffs taking place. You can go ahead and scratch October 24 as a possible airdate, since the World Series is going to be taking place at around that time. Meanwhile, you could also in theory scratch off the one on October 31. Depending on how long the World Series lasts this could be another week without an episode. (It may actually be beneficial to Lethal Weapon that there is no new episode here, given that there are always a smaller number of viewers around for Halloween.)

Will this sort of hiatus hurt the show? For Halloween not so much; missing the October 24 episode is a maybe. We do think that there is such a thing as consistency, and we do think it’s important that a network get their messaging out there so that viewers know precisely what is going on and when one of their favorite shows is coming on the air. It’s with that in mind that if we were Fox, we would conclude the October 17 episode by just announcing that there are no more episodes until November 7 so that everyone is on the same page. Even if the World Series doesn’t last that long and you can air an episode on Halloween doesn’t mean that you should
