Agent McGee adjusts on NCIS, Black-ish season premiere, Jimmy Kimmel, Ellen, Stephen Colbert address Las Vegas tragedy
Jimmy Kimmel, Stephen Colbert, Ellen talk hope
Talking about the wee hours or the morning, last night the late night talk show hosts discussed the horrible event that happened in Las Vegas. It would have been strange not to acknowledge it, especially since so many lives were tragically lost. However, Stephen Colbert and Jimmy Kimmel offered up moments that really made people think about what is happening in America. Even Ellen reminded her talk show fans that there is more good than evil and we all must have hope.
Jimmy Kimmel’s plea about gun control is something to debate, but no matter the side you choose the pain felt from his speech for the loss of life is something we all can relate to. A former Las Vegas resident, Kimmel gave a passionate speech about common sense and what he feels is necessary to keep people safe. The video of the very serious monologue has been seen by millions of people and it’s currently trending in the number one spot on YouTube.
Agent McGee adjusts on NCIS
On Tuesday night, fans of NCIS are going to watch one of their favorite agents in action. The teaser this week has Agent McGee struggling with the aftermath of his captivity. Comparing it to Agent Gibbs, it’s an interesting dilemma that the character must work out before moving on. Add the baby on the way and the dynamics of being a father and a good agent could be weighed out in front of the cameras.
Black-ish season premiere
One show I’m excited to see return to primetime is Black-ish. Yeah, it’s back and full of spunk. As a huge (and I mean H-U-G-E) Anthony Anderson fan, this is a not to miss series. The whole cast offers up some quality TV so it’s a win-win for anyone watching. The tease around this season premiere is that fans will either love it or hate it. Since nobody has seen it yet, we will have to confer later after the show to decide!
And Finally….Miley Cyrus sings The Climb on The Tonight Show
It appears that last night inspiration was found on every show. One of the best performances of the night was Miley Cyrus singing The Climb on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. One of my favorite songs ever, this song has always offered a reminder that our journey in life is about taking in the moments, both good and bad, and doing what we can to help others.
