The Gifted episode 2 spoilers: The quest to help Blink

Gifted episode 2

What lies ahead on The Gifted episode 2 following the events of Monday night’s premiere episode? First of all, let’s hope you’re hooked!

Before we dive into the story of the show itself too much, let’s start things off here by saying that we’re hopeful that the Fox series could have a long run on the air. The entire X-Men franchise has done a rather nice job of course-correcting itself in the aftermath of The Last Stand, and we found Legion one of the best superhero creations in recent memory. This is a show with incredibly high expectations, but we would expect nothing else given that you’ve got Stephen Moyer and Amy Acker leading the way in the case plus a number of other fantastic performers. It’s great getting to see Jamie Chung have a show of her own, just as it’s great to see what could happen to her character Blink next week. This is a show that doesn’t seem to be shying away from some of the big stories related to its characters early on, which will likely prove valuable for down the road.

Below, you can grab a few more details regarding what is coming up.

The Gifted episode 2 synopsis – “After exerting her powers beyond their limits, Blink (Jamie Chung, “Big Hero 6,” “The Hangover Part II”) goes into a state of shock, forcing Caitlin (Amy Acker, “Person of Interest”) and Eclipse (Sean Teale, “Survivor”) to go on a mission to find a special serum that will help her to recover. Meanwhile, Reed (Stephen Moyer, “True Blood”) faces some difficult choices when it comes to helping his family, and Polaris (Emma Dumont, “Bunheads,” “Aquarius”) runs into some trouble.”

There are a few different stages that we imagine many of the characters on The Gifted to go through. We imagine that they’re going to start off doing their part to try to understand themselves; from there, maybe they will then be able to start understanding each other more. We hope that as this show progresses we will start to get more opportunities to see these characters move forward and understand more of where their destinies could lie.
