Lucifer season 3 episode 2 preview: Tom Ellis, Lauren German, & what’s next

Lucifer season 3 episode 2

Once the premiere episode is behind us, where will Lucifer season 3 episode 2 take the story — and our main characters? Tom Ellis and Lauren German factored heavily into the show’s first episode, and of course you have to imagine that this won’t change. Their relationship is a fundamental building block for the show, and their bond will more than likely remain close for some time to come.

Here’s the problem: As the story progresses, we expect more issues will be thrown at them — they have so many challenges and obsessions that could serve as distractions. For Lucifer, a big one is going to be his avid search for the Sinnerman — the person apparently responsible for his kidnapping at the end of season 2. For Chloe, her burgeoning relationship with Detective Pierce (Tom Welling) could be a huge factor in the story for the early part of the season.

Below, you can see a few more details on “The One with the Baby Carrot,” an episode that sounds like great fun just based on the title alone.

Lucifer season 3 episode 2 synopsis – “After Lucifer removes his wings yet again, Linda becomes concerned that he is too focused on tracking down the Sinnerman and neglecting his own well-being. Tensions continue to rise between Lucifer and Chloe, but they realize they must put their differences aside to solve a case in which Lucifer takes a sudden interest. Once Detective Pierce’s past is revealed though, everyone realizes that the Sinnerman is much more dangerous than they thought in the all-new “The One With The Baby Carrot” episode of LUCIFER airing Monday, Oct. 9 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX. (L-302)”

We do like that the show isn’t holding back on the Deckerstar relationship in the early going this season — obviously the Lucifer writers are aware of why many people watch the show, and the bond between these two characters is a big part of it. Another big part? Getting to watch all sorts of craziness involving some of the cases and the supporting cast. It’s nice to see that Linda is going to be prominently involved in the early going; you won’t see as much of Maze in the earlier part of the season, but rest assured she’ll have a big part to play down the road.

What do you think is coming for Lucifer and Chloe on Lucifer season 3 episode 2?
