Empire season 4: Rumor Willis to be series regular

Rumer Willis

Empire is set to return this Wednesday and before it does, the Fox series has made one more announcement, that Rumor Willis will be made a full-time cast member.

According to TVLine, Willis has been guest starring on the series since Season 3 playing Tory Ash, a washed up singer-songwriter who bonds with Jamal during his time in rehab.

During her first season as a guest star she appeared in only four episodes and as the new season neared we had been hearing rumors that we’d be seeing more of Tory Ash. During Season 4, “Tory’s attempt to make a crossover comeback and her unwillingness to shy away from controversy will continue to have ripple effects.” So will these “ripple effects” have a impact on her friendship with Jamal? Or her career with Empire XStream? What could happen is she could be forced to start choosing side when competition starts to plan a war against Cookie and Lucious.

Willis has previously guest starred on Pretty Little Liars, Hawaii Five-0, and 90210. Early speculation about her status started to come when Fox included her in the promotional photos for the season.

Again anything is possible this season with a war between Cookie and an old enemy eyeing to take down her children one by one and with the arrival of Demi Moore’s major arc, it’s going to be an exciting season. Moore’s character is described as a “take-charge nurse with a mysterious past who will become ever more treacherously entangled with the Lyon family in Season 4.” In addition, Forest Whitaker will be joining Season 4 in a recurring role with a connection to Lucious from his past. Given how Lucious ended the third season in a state of amnesia, the early part of the season could be spent with him trying to regain some element of a sense of self. Meanwhile, others around him may realize that they prefer this new version of Lucious more than the old one.

Overall, Season 4 is one that you don’t want to miss because this season will bring the excitement, the unexpected, and the intense moments. In addition, the music is going to be amazing.

Season 4 will star Terrence Howard (Lucious Lyon), Taraji Henson(Cookie Lyon), Bryshere Y. Gray (Hakeem Lyon), Jussie Smollett (Jamal Lyon), Trai Byers (Andre Lyon), Grace Gealey (Anika Calhoun). It was created Lee Daniels and Danny Strong.
