Vice Principals season 2 episode 3 spoilers: Gamby searches for the shooter

Vice Principals season 2 episode 3

When Vice Principals season 2 episode 3 comes on HBO in seven days’ time, one of the principal (pun intended) stories will be about answers. For most of the season, one of Neal Gamby’s primary orders of business is his thirst for answers — it’s a pretty understandable search when you consider the fact that he was shot at the end of the first season. While Gamby may be a pretty horrible human being, he is entertainment gold. That is especially true for situations when he riles himself up. He will have more motivation than ever before to get justice here, and more than likely, he’s going to do everything in his power to ensure that he gets it.

Below, you can see the smallest taste of what he’s going to try to pull on this episode. A little more of our signature CarterMatt analysis comes after the fact!

Vice Principals season 2 episode 3 synopsis – “Gamby’s (Danny McBride) search for his shooter leads him into a novelist’s graduate-school class; Russell’s (Walton Goggins) ire is fueled by an unflattering caricature.”

Just picture the idea of Gamby in this class now, dealing with people who are far more creative and also in many ways far more intelligent than he is. More than likely, they’ll offer up some reasonable answers to his questions and he won’t buy them. As a result of that, even more problems will come for him. Comedy gold likely awaits! The same goes for Lee Russell, given that he is someone deeply invested in his image. He fashions himself someone very stylish and important, so of course he will freak out over someone who depicts him in another light!

At some point, Vice Principals should just be re-titled “Grown Men Freaking Out.” It makes just as much sense as anything else when it comes to these characters. It’s hard to fathom if they’ll find answers to life’s great mysteries — or ever find a way to be happy. They’re just bitter, angry people and one way or another they will likely collide with something that sends them into a tailspin. Expect more insanity on the other side.
