NCIS: Los Angeles 200th episode: See LL COOL J, cast celebrate

NCIS: Los Angeles 200th episode

The NCIS: Los Angeles 200th episode is going to be airing during this season of the show, and that is certainly a cause for celebration! Think about the TV in the modern era, where the majority of series are canceled after three or four seasons. Getting to 100 episodes is a rare feat, let alone making it to the 200th episode milestone. We can only hope that the series is planning something big as a payoff for the viewers, whether it be big-name guest stars, a huge story event, or something that harkens back to the earlier days. We know that a Kensi – Deeks wedding has already been discussed as a possibility by many fans, but will the show put together a ceremony so soon after the two got engaged? It’d be a change of pace for them given that this show normally goes at a bit of a slower pace, so while we’d like to see a wedding for these two, if it doesn’t happen this fast, we would be okay with that as well. Good things come for those who wait.

The new photo (below) via series star LL COOL J is confirmation that the NCIS: Los Angeles 200th episode party has already taken place, and now we’re looking more towards the next order of business: Getting to actually see the episode air. Based on our own count the 200th episode will be the eighth to air this season, and more than likely, it will be on the air at some point in either November or December. There will be plenty of time for the network to promote it, and hopefully the writers will use the event as a jumping-off point to tell some other exciting stories.

LL COOL J has been a part of NCIS: Los Angeles as Sam Hanna since the very beginning, but season 9 may be his most trying iteration of the show to date. Sam’s wife (Michelle) was killed off last season, and he now faces the challenge of trying to determine the best possible way to move forward. During the premiere (which will be airing on CBS on October 1) he will be struggling with his loss and coping with his grief. Luckily, Sam will have the support of his fellow team members, which may be especially good given that he will be facing some new challenges from a few different sources. Take, for example, the presence of new boss Shay Mosley (played by Nia Long).
