Lethal Weapon season 2 episode 3 spoilers: More on JoJo appearance

The JoJo appearance on Lethal Weapon is coming during season 2 episode 3, and based on early details, this one could be especially fun! The title for the episode is “Born to Run,” and we very much hope that this is a Bruce Springsteen reference. After all, music is a key part of the story! Also, so could be family.

As the synopsis below for the hour (airing on October 10) indicates, one of the real keys to Riggs and Murtaugh solving this case could be Murtaugh’s own daughter, given that she happens to be a big-time fan of the singer Shaye that JoJo is playing. Take a look for some more details:

“Murtaugh and Riggs investigate the mysterious death of famous singer Shaye’s (guest star JoJo) bodyguard. Murtaugh turns to his daughter, a fan of the singer, to learn more about Shaye’s background and uncover the possible suspects. Meanwhile, Riggs learns the responsibilities that come with being in a relationship with help from Murtaugh in the all-new “Born To Run” episode of LETHAL WEAPON airing Tuesday, Oct. 10 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX. (LET-203)”

This is certainly not the only news worth noting from this episode, given that you will be getting another appearance from Hilarie Burton in this episode, as well! The more of Karen Palmer that we get on this show, clearly the happier that we’re going to be. Also, the idea of Riggs getting relationship help from Murtaugh sounds like a hoot. The good thing about the show being in the second season at this point is that it’s much more self-aware of what it brings to the table in terms of humor and action. It can therefore play some of that up, and the chemistry between Damon Wayans and Clayne Crawford is pretty top-notch across the board.

We do still have two episodes to get through on Lethal Weapon season 2 before we get to this one, but it should prove to be worth the wait.
