Teen Wolf season 6 episode 18 spoilers: Could Melissa die?
Could Scott’s mother Melissa really die? We know that if something were to happen to Mama McCall, the internet may completely burn down in flames — we’ve seen some of the internet comments out there and it certainly feels possible. This character is beloved, and we don’t think that anyone out there wants to see Scott finish the run of the show without his family.
With this being said, we do feel as though there is reason for hope here. For one, we don’t actually see the character die; also, we’d be shocked if MTV were to ever release a sneak peek that completely gave away what was going to happen during one of their episodes. They have made some questionable decisions with Teen Wolf over the years — namely throwing it on the air at all sorts of random times without any rhyme or reason — but spoiling their own episode seems a little beyond reproach for them. No matter what happens with this story in the end, you’re probably going to be emotional just because this is Teen Wolf and over the years we’ve grown to be very much invested in some of these different characters. It’s certainly possible that someone could die by the end of the series finale as some sort of enormous sacrifice so that all of the other characters could live.
For now, though, let’s just focus on some of the advice that Melissa has for her son: Keep fighting, and keep working to pursue everything that you can to make it through. This is a powerful moment, and we hope that it sets a great foundation down the road for some more strong storytelling to come.
Take a deep breath — for now, we feel pretty confident that everything is going to be okay in the end.
