The Last Ship season 4 episode 5 spoilers: Mission averted

Last Ship season 4 episode 5

Are you ready for some good stuff coming on The Last Ship season 4 episode 5? We hope so, given that we’re absolutely ready to report on some of it. (Sure, we’re assuming that the next new episode qualifies as “good stuff,” but we’d be shocked if it was the case otherwise based on some of what we know about when it comes to this show. As things go along, they are likely to become all the more exciting and intense.)

What we know about this next new episode is rather simple, starting with the title: “Allegiance.” This could be a story about people coming together — and important people no less. Unfortunately, there could also at the same time being plenty of questions regarding whatever the aftereffect of these allegiances could be. Remember that sometimes, teaming up does more harm than good, especially in a world where there are so few people to trust. Tom Chandler is basically the only person outside of the James that the crew should probably rely on a good 100%.

While the synopsis below for this episode may not give away too much in terms of the overall story, we do think that it does set a pretty good standard for some of what you’re going to be seeing coming up.

The Last Ship season 4 episode 5 synopsis – “Nathan James is diverted from their mission when they receive a suspicious distress call from a fishing trawler.”

Will this installment be a game-changer for the entire series? It may be a little early still to make a grand declaration on this sort of level, but we do feel a little bit more confident in saying that this could be a game-changer for the second. This is around the point where The Last Ship needs to make some big moves to shake things up for itself. You need to breath new life into this story both early and often to keep it exciting! We just wish that TNT gave us a little bit more to chew on when it comes to details, given that based on what we’re seeing at the moment, these details don’t tell you too much at all. You’re more reliant on the episode for context and understanding.

Based on the promo, the good news is that the team has the seeds and that Slattery is alive. The bad news is that not everyone is going to be 100% on board with Chandler’s leadership back aboard the James, and there are going to be problems courtesy of the aforementioned distress call. If you love it when this show does some action-packed stuff, signs point to you loving this.
