NCIS: Los Angeles season 9 spoilers: Meet Andrea Bordeaux as Harley Hidoko

Andrea Bordeaux

NCIS: Los Angeles season 9 is premiering on CBS this fall, and we’ve got a chance for you to see Andrea Bordeaux as anew character!

Following today’s earlier post where we gave you some of the first details regarding Nia Long and her new role on the show, we can tell you that Bordeaux (whose credits include Bones and Rizzoli & Isles — two great crime shows in their own right) is going to be playing Special Agent Harley Hidoko on the upcoming season. Bordeaux confirmed the news herself in a post on Instagram, while also giving you a look at her character. She says that she will be heavily recurring on the upcoming season, so you should prepare to see her playing an integral part in a wide array of different cases.

As for how she is integrated into the team, that is one of the questions still hovering around out there. While we do think that the Los Angeles field office can be pretty welcoming, it wouldn’t be the biggest shock in the world if they have a few trust issues here and there. You have to remember everything that they’ve been through over time, and that includes so many mole problems and people coming in claiming to have the best interests at heart. It probably wouldn’t help Harley that Nia Long’s character looks to be a thorn in the side of the entire NCIS:LA team, mostly in that she isn’t going to be all that interested in the idea of Kensi and Deeks working together given their romantic relationship + Deeks’ employment over at the LAPD.

Given that the show doesn’t premiere for another solid month, we’re just in speculation mode — but when you’ve got a show this entertaining, it is often fun to dive into this sort of stuff!

One other question that we’re still wondering…

Will Bar Paly be back as Anna on the upcoming season? She made a number of appearances on season 8, and she did ground Callen in a way that we rarely see. What would be fun is an episode where Harley, Anna, and Kensi all teamed up for a ladies-only crime-fighting squad, just to shake things up a little bit.

Remember that NCIS: Los Angeles, while it may be still on Sundays, will be airing this fall in the 9:00 p.m. Eastern timeslot. Adjust accordingly.
