Big Brother 19 live feed spoilers: Matt’s penalty vote; Kevin’s missing slop (day 69, evening)
In one of the latest awful stunts to rile the poor dude up this evening, we saw Alex decide that she was going to dump out the batch of slop that was already made. While he can make more of it so he doesn’t starve, this was still a really petty (hey, she does wear that hat) move done for no real reason than that she wants to make someone miserable. She also blamed it on Raven when Kevin called her out on it, and then tried to act like it wasn’t that big of a deal.
Remember, Alex is the person who flipped out on Cody over eating her cereal after she offered him some. Hypocritical much? Well, Alex has just been wound up by Paul to go after people, and Kevin is now the easy target. Earlier today he got into it with Josh, and now he’s being deprived stuff because of Alex. What’s weird is that tonight, Josh is the more sympathetic figure towards Kevin while Alex is fine with being as horrible to him as humanly possible.
The good news is that Kevin isn’t on the block this week, and can win Head of Household Thursday night. At this point, we’re pulling for him to do that just for the sake of causing some chaos among some other people in the game.
Matt gets a penalty vote
Earlier today, Matt proclaimed that it was happening when he decided to eat food intentionally despite being a Have-Not. As a result of that, tonight he was formally issued a penalty vote by Big Brother, meaning that he has one vote to evict him already. We’re frustrated by this, mostly because he deliberately was thumbing his nose at the game.
While we understand that slop is useless in Big Brother most of the time, here we are writing a full story about the stuff! One of the things we’re planning to ask Allison Grodner about on Friday is if there will be considerations in changing the rules regarding slop penalties depending on the nature of the crime. For example, if someone accidentally eats a gummy worm forgetting that they’re on slop, or even has a couple pieces of candy thinking that they will get away with it, is that really the same as someone throwing up their hands and not caring about the rule at all? What Matt is doing is disrespecting the game entirely; sure, slop and Have-Nots are pretty dumb, but it is still technically a part of the game. We don’t understand why it’s cool to act like they don’t matter.
