Animal Kingdom season 2 episode 11 spoilers: Can Baz take down Smurf?

Animal Kingdom season 2 episode 11

When Animal Kingdom season 2 episode 11 airs on TNT next week, we’re going to see the Kingdom crumble … at least some of it. Characters are getting all the more testy, and with Baz forming plans, Smurf could be in more danger than she’s been for the entire season.

Do we think that Baz could actually win? Well, here’s the funny thing — even if Smurf loses, we have a feeling that she somehow is going to figure out a way to win. She’s Smurf! She somehow figures out a way routinely to get herself out of tough spots, and she’s been through a lot already. How is this current crisis any different? This is what this episode will have to show — there are two more beyond it, so we certainly don’t think it’s going to be resolved during this hour.

Check out the synopsis below, as it should give you a little more insight into what’s next.

Animal Kingdom season 2 episode 11 synopsis – “Baz (Scott Speedman) puts his plan to take down Smurf (Ellen Barkin) in motion as Marco (Joseph Julian Soria) cashes in a favor with Craig (Ben Robson) and Deran (Jake Weary). Meanwhile, Pope (Shawn Hatosy) seeks the truth behind the reasons for Catherine’s death.”

The latest ratings

Back when we were presenting these ratings earlier this season, we did so unaware as to whether or not Animal Kingdom would be coming back. Now that it is, consider these reports window dressing — it’s also still important to see the show end strong, since the season 3 ratings will likely be a reflection more of the ratings at the end of season 2 than the start of it.

Last week for episode 2×09, the show drew a 0.4 rating and just over 1.2 million viewers — even with the demo average and right above the total-viewer average for the year to date. These are positive signs for the show as we get closer to the end of the season. We know that these are also just a small sampling of the total number of people who actually watch, given that Animal Kingdom also does perform rather well in live+3 and live+7 data. It’s a show that, at present, is delivering a lot for TNT to be fairly happy about.
