Power season 4 episode 7 spoilers: Ghost’s redemption tour & Tasha’s role

Power season 4 episode 7

When Power season 4 episode 7 airs on Starz this weekend, at the forefront of much of it is going to be Ghost’s redemption tour. Let’s face it: James St. Patrick is not all that loved at the moment in the public eye. There are people who consider him a murderer, and it doesn’t quite matter that he’s free. It also doesn’t help that there is still a chance he could be re-indicted, given that there was no actual verdict read for the trial.

When you consider all of this, it should be much of a surprise that an image makeover is going to be at the center of the story Sunday night. Jamie needs to get the public back on his side, especially if he is retried given that this is a case that has become extremely public. One of the best ways to do that is via an interview, and that seems to be what’s on the table. It’s not something that Tasha is all that thrilled to take part in, but she does realize at the same time the reasoning for it.

Here is where things get a little more interesting: The relationship that she has with Silver. He doesn’t want to represent Jamie anymore, and it’s not until Tasha convinces him otherwise that he decides to do it. One of the biggest reasons that he has for that is that he certainly seems to have some feelings for her, and she potentially for him. He’s someone who’s been there for her during much of this crisis, and understands exactly what she’s going through.

Of course with that said, it’s absolutely going to be a little bit of a challenge for the two of them to make any move. While it would almost be karmic retribution for Tasha to get back at Ghost by being with Silver, it’d also turn the case into more of a public spiral if it were to get out. Still, it’s certainly juicy, no? One of the things that Power excels at is creating great, super-dramatic storytelling, and we have a feeling that this will provide that as the complications of this relationship — even if it’s not overtly romantic the rest of the way this season — spiral out of control.

One other thing to remember…

The mole hasn’t been found yet! We would not be shocked if, at some point over the coming episodes, Angela starts to really close in on Mike Sandoval and make him pay for everything that’s transpired.
