Raven’s Home episode 4 spoilers: Raven takes on daddy duties

Raven's Home episode 4

When Raven’s Home episode 4 airs on the Disney Channel next week, one of the things you will see is Raven doing her best to adjust — and the same effectively goes for her kids. Much of this show is a story of evolution and seeing how many of these characters react to different situations put before them. We’re still just a few episodes into the show’s run, so there is a lot of time still to see how the characters grow and evolve.

So what is coming in this episode in particular? The title here is “The Bearer of Dad News,” and that alone should give you a sense as to what’s ahead.

Raven’s Home episode 4 synopsis – “When Raven has a vision of Booker and Nia being upset over their dad’s move, she goes overboard trying to do all of the fun activities Devon normally did with the kids.”

One of the main focuses of this show is on seeing how Raven and Chelsea do move forward in this phase of their life, and it’s understandable why she would want to take on a paternal role for her kids. She wants to try and show to them that despite everything that has transpired with herself and Devon, there are still many different things that haven’t changed. This is the main crux of the narrative, and over the course of this half-hour, we’ll see just how that evolves. Eventually Raven probably will realize that she can’t be Devon just because she’s not Devon. She’s herself, and her children are going to be more than fine with that. It’s really all about just trying to be the best version of herself more so than trying to be the best version of someone else. If she and Devon keep things reasonably amicable, then there are still opportunities to fulfill some of those duties down the line. Just give everything fine.

As for the comedy…

There is probably going to be quite a bit of good content in here, given that so much of That’s So Raven / Raven’s Home relies on physical comedy. Seeing Raven taken on a different role will probably lead to various hijinks and problems, and we’re all about seeing how that unfolds.

In general, comedy is what Raven’s Home needs to focus on more than anything else. While you’re going to have some more of the morals and the emotional stuff in there, the memorable comedic moments are some of the things that you’ll probably remember the most and talk about down the road.
