Queen of the South season 2 episode 10 spoilers: Teresa’s trust battle

Queen of the South season 2 episode 10

When Queen of the South season 2 episode 10 airs, we’re going to be seeing a landscape that is slightly different than tonight. More characters could be at the center, the relationship with Teresa and Camila will have evolved again, and she will be in a position where she has to figure out who is on her side before things turn deadly.

Beyond all of that, expect Cortez to face off against some crosshairs thanks to Epifanio. The synopsis below offers up a little bit more insight.

Queen of the South season 2 episode 10 synopsis – “Teresa competes with James for Camila’s trust, until new revelations force her to question everything. Epifanio plans to leave the cartel world for good – but not before Cortez faces justice.”

For those wondering, we often have a hard time believing that anyone is going to leave the drug game when you think further about some of these storylines, mostly because it is so much easier to keep throwing characters back in the fray. For a good example, all you have to do is look back at what happens routinely on Power.

Speaking of power, you get a good sense of how much of this Teresa has in the promo for this episode, given that she makes it clear that she is working alongside Camila. She doesn’t consider herself an underling in the slightest.

The latest ratings update

We’re still waiting for a Queen of the South season 3, and this week, once again we have nothing but good/happy news to report! The show’s eighth episode last week ended up generating in total a 0.4 rating in the 18-49 demographic, which ties its season high, and then also 1.16 million viewers. To date, the show remains almost even with its season 1 demo totals, which is a very good sign for the hopes that it will come back for more.

As a matter of fact, we feel almost so confident in this position as to declare that the show’s season 3 renewal odds are close to 100%. Why would USA cancel it? Not only is it one of their top-performing original shows in the demo, but it’s a self-starter that doesn’t require a whole lot of promotion. It also does a great job at maintaining its audience week to week and providing addictive appointment television (that’s a rare word in this era). More than likely, if you are watching one episode then there is a very good chance that you’re going to keep watching the rest of the season.
