TNT’s Claws episode 9 spoilers: The last before key finale
The title for this upcoming episode is “Ambrosia.” Want to know more? Then you don’t have to look any further than the attached synopsis below.
Claws episode 9 synopsis – “With the clock ticking, Desna (Niecy Nash) is scrambling to get out of her worst trouble yet. Determined, she goes searching for the truth with her crew right behind her, save for Jennifer (Jenn Lyon), who is learning how to cope as a Dixie Mafia wife. When Desna’s sleuthing hits pay dirt, she goes to the only person who can save her. Time is running out.”
Let’s be clear about one thing: If you are going to the “only person who can save you,” that’s never good news. There’s always a reason why you haven’t reached out to them before things get desperate, and this is absolutely something that the show could start to explore further if they so choose.
The biggest problem for Desna is clear: Roller’s back. It’s hard to fathom how it happened and he’s still alive, but it’s pretty darn clear that is bad news for her future.
The latest ratings
Where is the at entering its home stretch? Well, it’s once again good news! For the second straight week, Claws (this time around with episode 7) drew a season high with 1.27 million viewers watching live, and it tied its previous demo high with a 0.5 rating. We once again cannot stress enough how great that is and how it’s an amazing testament to the strength of this show. There are so few series out there, especially ones in their first year, that maintain the ratings that they had for the premiere for the entirety of the series. That sort of devotion often pays off with a long run, especially if the numbers continue to rise the rest of the season. Remember here that the ratings for episode 8 (which came on tonight) will be posted next week when we’re back with another ratings update.
