Real Housewives of Orange County preview: The Shannon Beador – Lydia McLaughlin meeting

Shannon Beador

Monday night’s Real Housewives of Orange County episode is almost here, and it’s containing a good bit of Shannon Beador drama.

If you saw some of the early previews leading up to this season, you may know a thing or two already as to what’s coming up. Shannon and Lydia McLaughlin are going to be meeting for the first time, and it’s fair to say that this is not going to go well at all. There will be some drama and frustration as a result of it, and that’s especially indicative of the way that Shannon storms off at the end of it, angered and frustrated with the way things are going.

If there is some good news for Shannon, it’s that she is trying to find some ways to help and improve her marriage! Who knew that the help of a feng shui expert could be a way to resolve things? Apparently, there is some significance to such things as the location of the toilet, judging from some of the other scenes in the promo. Shannon’s a cast member who’s always run the gamut of various emotions, which is what makes her a compelling part of the show.

For a few more details, take a look at the synopsis below.

Synopsis – “Vicki prepares for her big office move while Shannon enlists the help of her feng shui expert to try and bring balance into her otherwise chaotic life. Lydia is busy launching her brand new magazine which features Peggy, an Armenian firecracker, whose life may look perfect but not everything that glitters is gold. Kelly struggles to make her marriage work while Meghan settles into life as a new mom. Tamra plans an over-the-top birthday party for her granddaughter, Ava, where tempers fly as Lydia and Shannon meet for the first time and don’t see eye to eye when it comes to Vicki.”

This video gives you a small sense of new arrival Peggy Sulahian — take a look at her bio via Bravo to get a little more insight into her:

“Born in Kuwait to Armenian parents, Peggy Sulahian moved to the U.S. when she was one years old.  She now lives a life of luxury in the exclusive Crystal Cove community with her custom wheel mogul husband Diko, and their three children – daughters Giovanna, 19, Gianelle, 17 and son Koko, 9.  After losing her mom to breast cancer at the age of 51, Peggy made the difficult decision to undergo a double mastectomy when doctors recently found a lump in her breast. As she prepares for reconstructive surgery, she wastes no time inserting herself into the drama, but often finds herself lost in translation amongst the women.”

This gives you an idea as to what her basic story will be, but we imagine that as the season goes along, more interesting developments will start to rise to the surface.
