Zoo season 3 spoilers: Billy Burke teases Mitch – Clementine developments

Zoo season 3 spoilers

In this edition of Zoo season 3 spoilers, one of the questions we hope to answer is this: What’s next with Mitch and Clementine? We suppose that a big part of this depends on answering one other question: Who is the real Clementine? There isn’t exactly a clear answer for this mystery one episode into the season. We’ve got one with Mitch in Siberia, and then the other with Jamie — bearing a gun. This is the one we have to be worried about at the moment, or so we think.

It’s possible that an answer to this mystery will come soon; one way or another, you can rest assured that there are some great stories coming in terms of what’s happened with Clementine and her father. They have a lot to catch up on, which makes sense given how long they’ve been apart. They also have another issue that they need to take on here courtesy of the hybrid attacks, which probably takes away from some of the bonding time that they’d have otherwise. Provided that this Clementine in Siberia is the real one, is there any real chance for bonding, or is this bonding just another form of chaos known as the IADG?

In speaking about this further, Billy Burke discussed recently to CBS how the story of his character and Clementine’s relationship. It sounds like there are going to be some major highs and lows for them, but in the end, this relationship may be a constructive one:

“When Mitch last saw Clementine she was 10 years old, and to that point they’d had a pretty estranged relationship due to divorce. She’s been saddled with a terminal disease her entire life for which he’d been tirelessly searching to find a cure. I think if he’s tried to teach her anything it’s just to hang on, no matter what. That said, as the story unfolds I think we’ll find that as with all parent-child relationships, sometimes the elder learns more from the younger.”

Some bumps in the road

Based on the information that was released for Thursday’s episode, there will be an “interrogation” or two involving Clementine and Mitch in this episode. If this is in fact her, one of the questions you should be asking is how badly she wants to get information out of him? In answering that question, you may start to be informed more as to whether or not this is legitimately her. This story as a whole should be a great opportunity to explore a different dynamic for Zoo, and of course we’re always down for seeing Burke tackle some great material.
