Shadowhunters season 2 episode 15 return date: Simon’s dark road
As you may have suspected, the Freeform supernatural series is going to be taking a small break on July 3 (no new episode), with the biggest reason for that being that the Fourth of July holiday is a brutal time for ratings and no one can really compete with BBQ’s, beer and fireworks. While the series may be renewed already, it’s best not to do anything to further jeopardize its future beyond season 3, so keeping those ratings strong is a must. Don’t you want to see the show last for as long as possible? We know that we do.
A new episode of the series will be returning on Monday, July 10 with episode entitled “A Problem of Memory,” one that is going to have some very key storylines when it comes to Simon, Alec, and Valentine — three men who are absolutely important to the series in their own right.
In the event that you have not seen it yet, the synopsis below offers you up some other (rather brief) insight into what lies ahead.
Shadowhunters season 2 episode 15 synopsis – “Simon goes down a dark path while Alec and team prepares to transport Valentine.”
This episode marks the halfway point of the second half of the season — or, at least the end of this episode does. Get ready for all stories to start to escalate in importance from here on out.
As for what else could be coming up in this episode, the biggest thing that we can say is that there’s a pretty darn good reason for Simon to go down a dark path after what happened in the Seelie Court. He’s emotionally devastated, and it will take some time in order to get over that — provided that he ever can.
