Power season 4 spoilers: Is there any hope for Ghost and Angela?
Given how dire things may be, and how angry the two characters may be towards each other, isn’t there such a thin line between love and hate? The passion that these characters have is what drew them to each other, and it could be what drives them together down the road in the event Ghost ever gets out and Angela realizes that he was not guilty in Greg’s death. (Granted, he’s guilty in a lot of other stuff, so he’s hardly an angel resting his wings behind bars.)
In speaking via CNN on the couple’s future Lela Loren (who plays Angela) assured that even if things are dark now, she still thinks that they may find a way to make things work down the road:
“I don’t know [what their future holds], even now … The romantic in me hopes they can, but there’s still so much story to tell.”
The first order of business for Ghost should be trying to prove his innocence no matter how difficult it may be for him to do so. What’s the challenge there? A lot of it begins with him finding a way in order to ensure that there is an ally for him on the outside world, and that’s difficult given that he’s alienated Tasha, his relationship with Tommy is a shell of what it was, and his son Tariq has effectively grown close to his sworn enemy, who he doesn’t even know is still out there and a threat to him.
What we’re trying to say at the moment is fairly simple: There is a TON of chaos coming up for Ghost and Angela down the line. It’s hard to imagine the two getting together without a lot of things falling into place.
