Longmire season 6: Katee Sackhoff teases ‘beautiful’ ending for Walt, Vic
In the post below on Twitter, Katee Sackhoff mentions that she “can’t wait for you all to see the beautiful ending” between her character of Vic and Robert Taylor’s Walt. Note that this doesn’t necessary mean that the two characters are going to have a beautiful ending together, but it’s still exciting nonetheless since these are two characters who deserve some happiness. They’ve suffered, both in terms of their personal lives and also what they’ve been through professionally. They’re great at what they do, but there are some serious drawbacks to being out there fighting crime on a near-constant basis.
The last we saw these two characters, they were both on the brink of major changes in their lives. For example, Vic was expecting a child, and she was trying to figure out just what that would mean for the remainder of her life. Meanwhile, Walt was trying to get ahold of the idea that he could lose everything thanks to a wrongful-death lawsuit, one that held deep political ramifications in his community and beyond. If these two find their way through these challenges, maybe they can find comfort in each other, whether it be only as friends or something more.
Longmire season 6 will likely be wrapped up before too long, at least from the filming side of things. There is still post-production to get through, and of course all of these episodes have to be ready at the same time for the fall. We reported recently that it’s possible season 6 may not premiere until early October, based on the timeline for the season 5 DVD release and some patterns there historically. No matter when it does come back, odds are that it will be worth the wait to see many of your favorite characters back in action.

It is a shame Netflix could not find a way to continue Longmire because it is a top notch TV show.
