Shadowhunters season 2 spoilers: When will the Seelie Queen appear?

The Seelie Queen is one of the most significant people within the faerie world, and with that, you know that she will have an important role to play on Shadowhunters season 2 in some shape or form. For the time being, the big question is simple: What kind of role will that be?

For the time being, what we know is that this character will be appearing on the upcoming June 26 episode entitled “The Fair Folk,” and they will be involved as Jace and Clary find themselves summoned to appear in front of her. While she’s been mentioned on the show before, this will be her first appearance and it will prove interesting to see just how prominent a role that she is playing from here.

One thing that is somewhat interesting is that it’s only a little over a week away from this episode airing on Freeform, but the network still ahs not confirmed one way or another who will be playing this character. Make of that whatever you want, but it is certainly interesting to draw some theories as a result of it.

Beyond the Seelie Queen appearance, the only other major bit of scoop we can hand down about this episode at present is that Alec has some big plans when it comes to how he wants to patch things up with the Downworlders. Whether or not these plans become reality is what remains a mystery for now, but he does have more of a reason for personal investment than most with his relationship with Magnus being what it is.

Before we even get to this episode, there are some other important bridges that need to be crossed. Monday night’s new episode should prove important both when it comes to Shadowhunter / Downworlder conflict, and also when it comes to learning more about the course of this season and what Sebastian’s role could be in it.
