Dark Matter season 3 episode 3 spoilers: Three’s Groundhog Day

Let’s be clear: Moving into Dark Matter season 3 episode 3, the threat of death could be so much greater than it usually is … and that is saying something. What else would you expect given the situation that they’re in? The team will find themselves next week in a position where they are desperate to ensure peace and stability, but along the way, they could be hit up with a series of unexpected and unfortunate roadblocks.

If you are interested in getting some specifics beyond that … well, for the time being there aren’t that many, given how secretive Syfy likes to be about this show in general.

Doesn’t that sound like there is a distinct possibility that someone could die? It’s enough to be nervous about, and there is enough of a reason to fear with this world. Luckily, everything presented in the promo below should put you at ease a little bit…

The big reveal at the end of episode 2 is that Five has a secret sister somewhere, and she may spent a portion of the season trying to find her.

However, that’s not the focus of this next episode, which seems to be more about Three finding himself in a Groundhog Day sort of situation where he is reliving the same day over and over again. Eventually, some hijinks come about as a result of that — the scene of him and Android singing, with Android still acting like Android in the process, has to be the sort of thing that you could watch time and time again.

This is also an episode that is rather needed for this show when you consider what we’ve been through getting to this point in the story. With Nyx dying and with Two struggling so much with that, let alone some of the revelations with Five, it makes sense that the show present a little bit of humor now. There will likely be a resolution at some point, largely because of the fact that Three’s not going to go Bill Murray for the remainder of the series.
