The Originals season 4 episode 12 spoilers: Can Vincent stop The Hollow?
In an effort to defeat this entity once and for all, the main impetus on next week’s “Voodoo Child” could be Vincent, a character who certainly is primed for a story like this. He has some of the abilities to be essential in turning the tide, but there is of course a major difference between having abilities and being able to accomplish what is necessary to alter the current course of events.

The Originals season 4 episode 12 synopsis – “When The Hollow targets the most vulnerable Mikaelson, Klaus (Joseph Morgan) is forced to rely on Vincent (Yusuf Gatewood), who believes he can use The Hollow’s own dark magic to defeat their enemy for good. Meanwhile, as Marcel (Charles Michael Davis) worries that Vincent’s plan might backfire, the King of New Orleans decides on a deadly backup plan of his own. Elsewhere, after falling victim to The Hollow’s manipulations, Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin) struggles to figure out Hope’s (guest star Summer Fontana) future in New Orleans, while Freya (Riley Voelkel) must confront her darkest fear.”
One of the things that is worth pointing out now relates to Hayley and the current decision-making with Hope. As it was recently noted by Julie Plec (read more here), it’s possible that the child could eventually depart for Alaric and Hope’s new school in Mystic Falls. If that happens, it does set the stage for an epic season 4 finale or season 5 plot that could make fans of both this show and The Vampire Diaries happy. It obviously goes without saying that the contingent of Caroline / Klaus fans is one of the biggest fandoms out there and then some.
