Real Housewives of Beverly Hills: Brandi Glanville not looking to return
As for whether or not that will actually happen, don’t hold your breath. Glanville made an appearance on the E! News Daily Pop program, and made it clear that her “life right now is in a better place” than it was before she was a part of the show. Also, she’s got some improvements in her personal life that have made it easier for her to enjoy her time away from the show:
“I have a boyfriend [‘DJ’ Friese], so it’s different now. I think when you’re single on the show people just come for you ’cause there’s no man there to have your back. … I’ve been yelled at by the men.”
Glanville did make it clear that she is grateful for the experience, given that it gave her a platform for her to do some of the things that she’s doing now — which is the real value of the franchise. It’s hard to see anyone being THAT thrilled about being screamed at by people on Bravo multiple weeks of the year, but there has to be something rather fantastic that comes out of getting to launch things that are uniquely your own, and you don’t have to worry about anyone else coming and snagging them from you. It’s almost like being on Shark Tank without having to give back a certain percentage of your business to the Sharks! Pretty sweet deal, no?
It’s a little too early to know one way or another who is going to be coming onto the upcoming season, given that it probably won’t premiere until at some point at the end of the year. At this point, it does feel like the show’s got a pretty solid core cast to build around with Kyle Richards, Erika Girardi, and Lisa Vanderpump leading the way. Beyond that, the real test is going to be seeing who fits in chemistry-wise. There are likely to be more returning stars beyond these three (who are not even confirmed 100%) for the upcoming season.
