Britain’s Got Talent lineup: Kyle Tomlinson, DNA, Tyrone & Mina set for Monday
As with past years for the show, there are going to be eight acts performing in this show, and of that group there will be two who advance to the next round of the competition. The big twist this time around is simply that of this group, the judges will have zero say in who actually gets to go through. This is a bizarre twist, especially given that the British public often doesn’t get things right … especially when it comes to variety acts.
Anyway, check out now, per Telly Mix, the lineup for tonight’s show with analysis.
DNA – Great magicians / mind readers who may have a legitimate chance to move forward. Their big challenge will be doing an effect that hasn’t been seen on the show to date, given that there are so many that feel familiar by now.
Tyrone & Mina – They’ll be incredible, but still won’t go through just because these acts rarely are at the top of any public vote.
Miss Treat Vibe – Singers, otherwise known as The Miss Treats from the auditions. Decent band, could have a shot depending on song choice.
Niels Harder – Completely insane comedy magician. Probably too insane for voters.
PC Dan – He’ll come out, do some silly moves, and be given an X or two before the act is over.
Empire Dance Crew – Dance crews have to earn their praise at this point, given that so many of them on this show now feel the same. It’s just harder to share personality.
St. Patrick’s Junior Choir Drumgreenagh – They’re a choir with children. This is almost a lock to be in the top 4 of the public vote.
Kyle Tomlinson – You can say the same thing about Kyle, given that he’s a singer with an emotional story and a golden buzzer from David Walliams to boot.
As of right now, it feels like Kyle and the Junior Choir are going to be put through; however, we’d personally love to see a configuration of Tyrone & Mina alongside Niels, just because this show could benefit from a little crazy.
