Real Housewives of Atlanta: Kandi Burruss will ‘never’ talk to Phaedra Parks again
After the incident played out, Phaedra was almost labeled immediately a persona non grata with the franchise. Reports are that she won’t be a part of the coming season, and it doesn’t seem likely Kandi has any interest (understandably) ever being around her again.
Speaking in a recent chat with E! News, Burruss gave a good account of where things stands, and also what’s going to have to be done in the future with herself and Porsha Williams:
“I’m still not feeling her either. At the end of the day, she knew it was a lie. She cannot sit there and say she believed it. I’m happy she finally told the truth, I’ll give her that … But did you tell the truth because you were tired of people tearing you down, saying you were a liar, or did you do it for the right reasons?
“As far as Porsha is concerned, she and I will probably end up having to have a conversation about this. I’ll still probably never be close with her again. But Phaedra? We can never talk again.”
There are some instances within the Real Housewives franchise where you do tend to see the producers force people together for the sake of causing drama, but this is one of those situations where it’s hard to really foresee that happening. While it’d make great drama, it almost seems too unseemly after everything that happened to throw these two women in the same room again. Everyone should have a chance to move on, and so should the show when filming resumes for it a little bit later this year. It’s true that we’re already feeling pretty excited about that!
Do you think Kandi has the right mindset again, and do you think that we’ll ever see Phaedra again on the show at some point down the road? Be sure to share below!
