The Bachelorette spoilers: How does DeMario Jackson impress Rachel Lindsay?

In what should surprise virtually NO ONE out there, you will see a date on Monday night’s The Bachelorette that is based around athletics. In between watching testosterone-laden men battle it out in sports and then seeing them take their clothes off, the dates seem to be on almost every season at this point.

This time around, the physical date is basketball, which makes sense given that Kareem Abdul Jabbar is going to be around to lend a hand with the date. This automatically is the sort of situation where we’d start making Airplane! jokes if we were there. The sneak peek below features none other than DeMario Jackson completely schooling most of the guys, which Rachel talks in a confessional about how she is very much attracted to an athlete. He’s easily the best guy on the court judging from what is seen here, and it’s really not even close. (Remember, he did refer to himself as the “#1 seed” on night one, and that may be appropriate on the basis of physical attributes alone.)

However, here’s the problem with this date: It seems to be where the much-discussed mystery girlfriend shows up ready to expose her man for coming on the show. The synopsis below gives you a good indication of some of what lies ahead:

“It starts out a perfect day for 10 men and sports enthusiast Rachel – a basketball dream date with Kareem Abdul Jabbar. The guys are stunned, however, when Jabbar reveals they will be competing in front of a huge crowd, including a brass band and cheerleaders. One bachelor gets cocky and starts showboating for the spectators. However, the fun and games are cut short when a woman approaches Rachel with the information that one of the bachelors is her boyfriend. Rachel’s confrontation with the man and the aftermath of the altercation leaves everyone speechless. It leaves her to wonder if the other men are there to find love or play games.”

While there’s no advance knowledge of who has said girlfriend in here, it’d probably be the funniest that it is DeMario given that he was hyped so much on the life After the Final Rose and seems borderline cocky about his abilities to woo her on the show.
