Shades of Blue season 2 finale: Is Harlee or Wozniak dead?

The Shades of Blue season 2 finale aired on NBC on Sunday night, and it raised a big question: Is Harlee or Wozniak dead? The closing seconds of the episode certainly served to make you worry, given the way that both parties were left in a position where they would be in need of some SERIOUS help. (The clip from Jennifer Lopez’s Twitter at the bottom of this article gives you a good sense of what we’re talking about when it comes to Harlee’s condition. Also, can we all give some collective appreciation to Lopez for joining her Twitter fam on a weekly basis to further support the show?)

Woz, meanwhile, was outright shot in his own cliffhanger ending. Both were dramatic in their own right, and they should give any fan of the show some SERIOUS reason for concern before the third season comes on the air.

Now that we’ve said that, let’s get back to asking the unthinkable: Could the show actually kill either one of these two characters off? For now, it appears incredibly unlikely given that they are two top-tier talents who kill it on this show, and it’s hard to imagine what Shades of Blue would be like without them on it in some shape or form.

Admittedly, it’s also a little bit different for the show to hide anything in regards to this specific cliffhanger when you take a moment and consider that the show is already filming season 3, and there are plenty of sightings out there of the cast and crew. This makes it a little bit harder, admittedly, to have a cliffhanger in the age of the internet. It’s so easy to look up some information and know in a pretty short span of time precisely what’s going to happen.

Even assuming that Harlee and Woz are both alive going into the new batch of episodes, you do still have to think that what happened to them here will leave some sort of mark on them psychologically. Nothing in this world happens without consequence; if that were the case, then more than likely this cliffhanger ending never would have happened in the first place.
