The Voice spoilers: What Chris Blue, Lauren Duski, top 8 will sing
Below, you can see the official list of songs for the episode, or at least as official as you’re going to see based on the fact that they were released already on iTunes. Remember that the Red Wedding of elimination shows is airing on tomorrow night, so song choice is far more important than it will have been at any point during the season so far.
Lauren Duski, “Ghost in This House” – Absolutely amazing choice. It’s not too well-known, but those who know it are going to vote for it (and even some just discovering it).
Aliyah Moulden, “I Can Only Imagine” – It’s one of the most popular contemporary Christian songs of all time. There’s already evidence that singing religious songs works.
TSoul, “Ain’t No Way” – This isn’t the most familiar Aretha Franklin song, but it is still one that he could nail and get a little closer to the finale.
Jesse Larson, “I Was Wrong” – Jesse is the final person on Adam Levine’s team; singing something from Chris Stapleton is probably a good way to remain on the show for the finale.
Chris Blue, “Take Me to the King” – More religion. This is a very good song, so it’s hard to fault the choice or Chris wanting to make the finale.
Vanessa Ferguson, “Superstar” – This Leon Russell hit could bring her closer to the finale, but she’s got an uphill battle after needing the Save.
Brennley Brown, “Suds in the Bucket” – A pretty random country song, but Brennley’s been very popular and plenty of country fans have good memories of it.
Hunter Plake, “With or Without You” – It’s a great song, but it’s also one that is fairly hard to do in terms of giving it variety. It’s too early to know one way or another how this will fare on the show.
Which one of these songs are you the most interested in seeing on tonight’s The Voice episode? Feel free to share in the attached comments!
