Shades of Blue season 2 episode 11 spoilers: Harlee’s plan; possible death
Now that we’ve said this, though, you also better be prepare for the consequences that will be coming along with this. When you work with the police, sometimes the best-laid plans don’t turn out exactly the way you hoped they would. Maybe you make a mistake in your planning, or maybe your ambition blows up in your face. One way or another, there are often tragic reactions to some of your actions, and as we get into this episode, we could end up seeing a character die as a result of this plan going sideways.
Shades of Blue season 2 episode 11 synopsis – “Harlee (Jennifer Lopez) and Wozniak (Ray Liotta) lead the crew on a dangerous mission to heist Bianchi’s (guest star Ritchie Coster) secret ledger and take down the mobster once and for all. But the plan takes a tragic turn when the events our heroes set in motion put one of their own in harms way, forcing Harlee to turn to an unlikely source for help.”
One of the things that makes this episode (entitled “The Quality of Mercy”) so unique on paper is that almost the entire focus of the hour seems to be based mostly on this particular situation. Is it possible that there are no other stories within this episode? Based on what the stakes are, it does feel as though this is possible. We also do figure that over the course of the hour, we will see the writers set up what is the endgame for the season. There are two more installments coming after this, and they will not only tie together season 2, but also then set up season 3. It’s pretty nice that NBC gave this show another episode order early — some other shows on the network aren’t being given this sort of luxury. Just look at everything executive-produced by Dick Wolf.
