Hawaii Five-0 season 7 episode 24: Is Chin leaving? Should he?

Is Chin leaving

Is Chin leaving Hawaii Five-0? With season 7 episode 24 airing on CBS on Friday night, you’re going to be facing this situation and it’s something we faced in the winter finale when we thought he was going to die in that crazy cliffhanger! Now here we are once again, scared about losing one of our absolute favorites on this show, but this time wouldn’t be a lose of life – instead a gain of opportunity for Chin. That being said, if we lose Chin for any reason there will be a serious amount of crying going on over here.

As the sneak peek below references, Chin’s getting a rather ironic opportunity to collaborate with the very same people who previously tried to tear the Task Force apart. Specifically, he’s got an opportunity to head over to San Francisco, and lead a team. In theory, it seems like this would be a great opportunity for him to be a leader, and make good money, but will he take it?

Now that we’ve said all of that … there are some SERIOUS disadvantages to him going. For one, Chin loves Hawaii. This is his home. He has friends here and family here, and he loves working with the Task Force. Sure, he may work under McGarrett, but there is a freedom that comes with being there and operating under this set of rules. Also, we won’t like it if he leaves… not one bit.

For the record, you are also going to see Julie Benz back in the episode, so don’t presume that you’re going to hear the name Abby mentioned without actually getting a chance to see her.

One other random thought: As we’re writing this article, we really want some of these famed pancakes at the Wailana Coffee House that Chin recommends (remember that he’s the pancake master according to Sara, so if he likes them then they must be outstanding!). Also, we wish we could eat pancakes all day and be in the same shape as Daniel Dae Kim.

What do you think: Could Chin actually leave the Hawaii Five-0 team? If you were him, what would you decide? Share now in the comments!
