Blindspot season 2 episode 20 promo: Ronda Rousey guest stars

It was many months ago that you first heard about Ronda Rousey joining Blindspot season 2 episode 20; now, the episode’s almost here! This episode is coming in a little more high-profile than most, and we don’t care if the UFC fighter’s casting is a stunt or not; it helps the show get more viewers. Remember for a moment that Blindspot is very much on the renewal bubble, and the ratings that it gets for the next few episodes are very important for its long-term viability.

We should also not here in this spot that we’re very much worried about the numbers for tonight, given that the show was on a pretty lengthy hiatus and we’ve learned over time that this doesn’t always yield itself to knowing great things.

Now, let’s get back to Rousey and sharing a little bit more information regarding who she is going to be playing:

Blindspot season 2 episode 20 synopsis – “Zapata’s (Audrey Esparza) transgressions catch up to her, sending her to jail alongside a potentially powerful Sandstorm asset named Devon (guest star Ronda Rousey.) Weller (Sullivan Stapleton) and the team must go to exceptional lengths to help Zapata out.”

Ultimately, it seems like this is going to be a big Zapata episode more so than it is for any other character, though we imagine that the other members of the team will help to get her out of that predicament. Can you get Wentworth Miller to also stop by since it sounds like there could be a potential Prison Break element to this story? Oh, if only.

In the end, this episode sounds like it will be an interesting / exciting one. You’re not casting Rousey unless you imagine that you’re going to have a pretty physical, action-packed episode … or so we hope. this will still be serious, so Ronda’s not just playing some souped-up parody of herself.
